Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

The Fortress IDE includes built-in DLP that prevents unauthorized copying of code outside the editor.

How It Works

• Copy/Paste Blocked: Code cannot be copied to the clipboard or pasted from external sources by default.
• Admin Override: Administrators can enable copy/paste per user via Role Permissions → can_copy_paste.
• Visual Indicator: A DLP badge in the status bar shows the current restriction status.
• Audit Trail: All copy/paste attempts (allowed or blocked) are logged in the Panopticon activity feed.
