Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) work?

Copy and paste operations are blocked inside the Nexus IDE by default. Administrators can enable copy/paste for specific roles via Role Permissions → can_copy_paste. All clipboard attempts are logged in the activity feed for audit purposes.

How is developer payroll calculated?

The Panopticon tracks active coding time (keystrokes, file edits, IDE focus) and generates timesheets automatically. Timesheets are accessible from Workspaces → Payroll. Admins review and approve before export.

Does WorkMA integrate with GitHub?

Yes. You can link code projects to GitHub repositories, submit pull requests from within the IDE, and track commit activity. The Sentinel AI reviews merge requests for security vulnerabilities before they're merged.

What happens when my trial expires?

Your workspace is suspended — data is preserved but inaccessible. You can reactivate by subscribing to any paid plan within 30 days. After 30 days, data may be permanently deleted.

Can I reject a task?

Yes. Reviewers (QA, Team Leads, Admins) can reject tasks with feedback. The task returns to the assignee with the reviewer's comments, and the status reverts from "Review" to "In Progress."

Is there a mobile app?

WorkMA's web application is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is planned for a future release.

How do I contact support?

Use the Support section in the sidebar to create a ticket. You can also email support@workma.com for urgent issues. Enterprise customers have a dedicated account manager.
